    Not able to get out due to the car being ill, thought I'd go back through some stuff over the last couple of years and forgot about this pretty guy I stumbled across one day. Taken with my trusty old Canon G2.

    nothing wrong with the old G2 - a couple of fine images here. looks like you were right on top of him!

    I was and he didn't seem scared - I loved the G2 and is still the best built one out of the G(n) Powershot Range - in fact I've still got it

    The pheasant pluckers mate thought you might like these - first popping its head up below my window 6ft away hunting below the feeder

    and this one yeaserday "stepping out" coming up the grass. Regular visitors with its hareem - but can flatten plants!

    The pheasant plucker thinks they are great - it must have been as big a shock to you when it popped up its head and you were to it - magic!!!!! I can see we are going to get some good shots from you this summer.
