One advantage of being well trained by the princess of the house...

and the nature of my 'job',is the regular time i get to spend walking in our recreational area's.
The pics in the previous post were all from today, except the first swan closeup, which was from the day before.
Getting to know these feathered raptor's call quite well, love the buzzards(same as above).

It's nicely uplifting to see mother nature holding her own in the big city.
Since i got the cam i have become more observant, which even if it doesn't always lead to a nice pic,is still something i'm grateful for.
There's lots of beauty out there and why not enjoy it.
Next serious thing on the wishlist is a better cam/lens,but a bit more practice first probably might not be such a bad thing and then there is the budget.
    Small steps for now.
    Been fun while it lasted...

    Magpie joining in the fray.

Common buzzard being worried by a jackdaw.

    Single Buteo buteo.

The buzzards are making a big comeback here, happy to say.
I've spotted 6 at one time as a maximum for now,no decent pics alas, these four were displaying some real aerobatics.
    Springtime definitely has arrived.

Coot with chick,i'm always speculating about the different colouration(like the male Coot asking the misses some though questions about the maybe a bit too friendly relationship with the neighbouring Moorhens ),the red will completely vanish with age however.

    Starling with a snack.

And the Rose-ringed Parakeets are doing fine.

Well as I like photography lots....I had took lots of animanl, birds and some natural scenes in my cam. I love to capturing the different types of photos as well. But among all I like animal pictures most.
