    I think the background is too busy and distracts the viewer from the subject. You should try to use a smaller f/ number in order to get some DOF. Cheers!

    These little guys really are camouflaged by their surroundings. Challenging to spot them, I would imagine, as well as to photograph them.

    I think the background is too busy and distracts the viewer from the subject. You should try to use a smaller f/ number in order to get some DOF. Cheers!
    Toma to be honest I think with the angle of ths shot a smaller f-stop would not have made much difference to the background apart from in maybe #1 - well spotted under the circumstances, very inconsiderate of these birds to blend in for us photographers

    Thanks y'all! Very well camoflaged indeed! I didn't see the female at all until someone else pointed her out.
