She was playing in the yard with her mom and her brother (dad was doing that which precludes all play at the time).

    All was fun and games.

Then a paw went awry and a toenail entered her empty eye socket!

    And thus ensued.

    Happily all is serene again.

Oh. Sorry. I should have made it clear. She was born with out her eye as a congenital defect. She only has an empty socket....That was why it happened, she was literally blindsided.

She copes very well with her narrow field of vision. But, occasionally things catch up to her and she gets walloped. Usually it's just running into something ahead while watching behind..

    good series.
Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words "I have a cunning plan" marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

i think "awww" perfectly captures the thoughts here.

poor guy/girl. im sure we can all relate too, we'd be pretty angry if we somehow felt our weakness had gotten in our way, prevented us from doing something, or was the cause of some pain (knowing it would have been avoided if it wern't for our weakness.) poor guy, give her some extra treats.
