So it was B.C. Day here yesterday, as well as the local Riverboat Days celebration over ethe weekend. So, needless to say I was constantly useing my shutter to the max, all weekend long. I got these pics of the bear when the wife and I traveled up to the Nass region to visit her father. Thee bear were seen right on his farm property, and no worries, I kept my distance....lol

Great photos! Are there a lot of bears there???? I'm a archery hunter and they are hard to find in Oregon! Great shots, and great quality.

Lesifer, great shots of the bears and deer. You live in a wonderful part of this world for taking photos of wildlife.
Well done, good color and detail.

Thank-you all for the nice comments. I appreciate it..

@ oregonoutdoordude: Yes, the bears here are very, very common. The blacks, and the grizzlies. Where I live, the Kermode bear is quite common as well (but very elusive, getting a shot of one is like striking gold). It was because of this town and surrounding areas, that the Kermode was picked for one of the Olympic mascots here in 2010.
We also hunt deer, moose, mountain goat, & elk, and the usaual small game birds, but our real claim to fame here is the salmon fishing. Where catching a 50 pounder is'nt an unusaual event on teh river bank...lol
